Now the question is... should I be a typical american and solve all my problems with a pill?

My sister is in an abusive relationship with a cheater and overall emotionally abusive guy, I have read her text messages with him and he's cheated multiple times and literally takes no accountability and does not know how to apologize properly without putting the blame on her and being manipulative and I really just don't get why she's still staying in the relationship and i don't know how to...

"solve all your problems with a pill"
hmmmmm interesting way to look at it and not likely to happen
good luck to you.
I say try your hand at training yourself to thnik positively, eat well and communicate with people before reaching for the medicine cabinet.
but i would say talk to your doctor about medication, and if you dont feel right about a med dont take it, dont let them increase the dosage, and have them clarrify if its an Anti-Depressent or an Anti-Psychotic, seeing as my doctor is a dumbass fuck face and gave me an Anti-Psychotic instead of a Anti-Depressent, and i went straight to hell
but of course get your doctors advice on all treatments, and do what you think is best.

yeah, i bailed out of that one. lol. your problem, not mine. hell if i know what you should do... i dont even know what i should do. :P
unless its dangerous... :/
The pills dont cure all your problems they just make it easier to be in a place where you can begin to work on the depression ... I have taken many forms in the past and right now should be on my lexapro ... I have went off it due to surgeries... Yes I have more bad days at the moment then before when I was taking it ... things seem to get to me easier ... But I know it does not Cure my depression it just helps make it less painful some days...... Follow your doctors advice See if it helps ... what hurt can it cause
