I have told both county people and private hospitals that I am a danger to myself. The county says you have insurance go somewhere else we do not care. Private places say you may be a threat but we do not want you here go to county. Both end up pushing me on the other and I end up at home once again a threat. I am done with this shit. I am refusing to ask them for help anymore. No matter what you say to me on this site about how illegal that is this county is getting away with it. The police even tried to get them to take me by printing all of their contacts with me for the last year. Did not even phase the Dr. because he did not even look at them.

My sister is in an abusive relationship with a cheater and overall emotionally abusive guy, I have read her text messages with him and he's cheated multiple times and literally takes no accountability and does not know how to apologize properly without putting the blame on her and being manipulative and I really just don't get why she's still staying in the relationship and i don't know how to...
If you have insurance, definately go private and find a reputable hospital. Most of time, if they don't admit you, you should be able to admit yourself. At the very least, they should help you on an out patient basis.
Until you do, these places cannot help you, so they will not try. They help people who do not want to kill themselves or hurt themselves. They cannot change your mind for you. You must do that.
If I told someone I want to die, .. about all they can actually say is "OK" or "Oh really?" They cannot change my mind for me. I have to change it.
It's up to you, now, Jessi. You must change your mind.

The problem is that you have a reputation for being beyond help because of the suicidal obsession. When that is not an issue any longer, you can elect to live and start working on the problem, .. solve it, and have a better life.
I can understand 'refusal of treatment'. The caregiver must believe they can help the patient. If they do not, they can, do, and will refuse treatment.
What you must do now, is make SURE the suicide thing will NEVER actually happen. Then, present yourself to a new doctor for treatment. With that 'out of the picture' he will try to treat the problem,.. what happened at 11 and help you.
If you cannot find a doctor that will do that in your area, you must move to another area. You may not be able to live down the reputation in your area.
I would like you to reply to me, .. here in this thread, that you will not kill yourself because you want a good life. Taking your life is not an option.
Then, you have moved a mountain out of your way, and you can start working on the problem and start having a good life.
We are here to help you do that. We cannot help you if you do not want to live.
I would like to say and meen that I do not want to OD ever again, but that is not the case. It is like an addiction. I like the feelings the drugs give me when I OD. I also feel as if I am in control when I do that. Right now I do not feel in control of myself, thoughts, feelings anything.
I think I almost need someone to take away all of my power and give it back to me slowly so I learn how to handle it and stay in control.
