I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
Take time to relax properly, get good rest and then awaken yourself to your senses again, smell things like fresh bread baking, clean sheets and then work on your other senses, give yourself long hot baths and get engrossed in a really good book.
Remind yourself of the little things in life which feel nice and then work on it each day.
Sun or Ott lights work marvelously.
Seratonin producing foods.
Just the right amount of rest (not too much) music that makes your heart dance and exersize.
I purged myself of unhealthy relationshipsand joined a support group (no more isolating).
I did all this and more in incremental baby steps...All in all it was a 10 year journey.
I have not had but a few days of depressions since then because of the lifestyle changes...
