I was wondering what it is that makes some people here so sad this time of year. Is it the same year after year or does it change?
I would also like to know what makes you happy if you have something positive to share.
So either or on this thread...happy or bad.

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...

but, there is a sense of sadness when I hear the christmas carols, ect. I get teary eyed.
I put on a happy face for my son every year to make it great for him. But I'm determined to enjoy putting up the tree, decorating, wrapping presents, everything this year. I used to love christmas and want to so badly again. So I'm determined to truly enjoy it this year. I hope!
