My psychologist told me that helping others is a great way to deal with depression. She felt that it would help to take my mind off of my own woes and enable me to feel good about being of assistance to someone else. This sounds like it may just be the thing. I have signed up to do the D.C. Avon Walk for Breast Cancer. As the time approaches (I think there are only 22 days until the event) I'm getting more and more freaked out about fundraising. I thought this would be a good thing for me to do, but with so little time left it's creating the opposite effect. I just want to crawl into a ball and not have to worry about it...what to do????
