my boyfriend started having anxiety about 3 weeks ago which has turned into depression, it has only been 3 weeks, but it has been hard on him, i want to help him in every way possible. we live 3 hours away which makes it harder, but we have been together for 4 years, see each other very often, and talk every day, several times a day. now that he is dealing with depression, sometimes we now go 3 or 4 days where he won't answer is phone or reply to email, it really hurts me, he told me that he has never been so unhappy, he has never been depressed before, and this is so unlike him, i have tried to research everything i could on the internet about depression and how to help him, i send him e-mails and text everyday for a little encouragement, i don't want to loose him over this, but i need advice on what to do. Tonight i was gonna e-mail him some pictures of us, while playing some of the songs he likes, thought if nothing else, it may make him smile. Is this a good idea, any advice would be great. i am trying hard here.
