Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.
You know how when your a kid, you like to sit around and scare the crap out of each other? I use to love that.
When my daughter was a preteen, she and her coven would get together for "who has the best ghost story." One night it was storming out, and we were sitting around the living room, telling one horror story after another.
So, I told the girls about the famous hatchet women, who had been arrested and housed at the woman's prison but escaped. By the way, the prison was less than a mile from my house. She murdered for fun, and was angry because she was so ugly and smelled because she never combed her hair, or took a bath.
They laughed my little pitiful story off, so I left. For the moment.....
I went to my room, disappointed that my story telling had lost it's ump. So, I pulled out the old Halloween costumes, assembled a rather ugly hatchet women costume, with a tangled wig, old white halloween suit, went to the bathroom, did my makeup just right. The coop to resistance was the knife with the blood on it. (ketchup)
I hid by the door, and just as lightening struck, I jump right into the middle of the room, screaming bloody murder.
Scared the crap out of those kids, one never came back to my house.
Wonder why?
