Hi - I'm so glad to have found this forum you all seem really nurturing and supportive. Just what I need!
I have had dysthymia since I was 9 (25 years now), diagnosed at 20, on and off meds and in and out of therapy all this time. I've also had Major Depression and post-natal depression. I keep on fighting through but I'm finding as the years go on I'm less inclined to ask for help or turn to friends and family as they've heard it all before. So, yeah, I get pretty lonely - despite having a good marriage and 2 lovely boys aged 1.5 and 3.
I have recently gone back on meds - Moclobemide this time (it's a RIMA - kind of like a MAOI) and I seem to be responding quite well to them. I've taken SSRIs and tricyclics in the past.
I look forward to getting to know you all, and I hope I can offer you my support aswell. btw - everyone calls me Mumma.

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...

10. In the city of York it is legal to murder a Scotsman within the ancient city walls, but only if he is carrying a bow and arrow (two percent)"
So for the peace of mind it would give us here at DS who get to know you and like you, Please avoid the city of York when visiting England. And if you must go there DO NOT carry a bow and arrow.
