I'm quite new to this community, but I thought I would tell you lot I'm having a bad day. I've been suffering with depression for a number of months and it's starting to get too much. It's affecting every part of my life and no one seems to understand. Everytime I try to talk to my family or friends they just say I'm over reacting. I was wondering if I am? I would like to just talk to someone

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
Unfortunately, a lot of people don't understand depression. When it's a loved one dealing with it the lack of understanding can be based in fear.
I doubt very much that you are overreacting. Have you sought out a doctor or therapist to help you deal with this yet?
