I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. The next day the on-duty nurse came into the room with one of those little platic pills cups. I was sitting there with my grandmother.
The nurse turned to open the blinds and noticed that the little plastic cup that she had brought in was empty. In a panicked voice, she said to my grandafather, "what happen to the contents of this cup?" He did not understand.
I asked him in Spanish. He explained to me that he took the pills as usual, which I translated to the nurse. She said to me, "those weren't pills, I came to show you his gaulstones!"
I bursted out laughing and explained what happened to my grandparents. Being naive too, my grandmother bagan balling believing that my grandfather had to have the surgery again!!
It took a long time to get it all straightened out. But we still talk about it to this day!
