Some of you probably already know this but I thought I would post it for those that may not be aware. A good healthy balanced diet can help depression lots. For our bodies to be well balanced ( and that includes our brains ) we have to eat a good diet. This is why people that are anorexic or bulemic sometimes take a lot longer to recover from depression or actually suffer with it in the 1st place. Its because their bodies and in turn, their brains are not getting the nutrition required to keep everything running smoothly. Think about it.... a car with little engine oil will keep going until it starts to feel the strain. Eventually after not being fed( oil put in ) it will stop working completely. Same as us. But if that car was oiled regularly, it would never have broken down. The human body is very clever in that it knows what it needs and it knows that to work properly, it needs the right fuel so anyone out therewith depression that has tried everything but eating for it.... try it. You never know...it might just work :)
