I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
I've had pain in my back on and off ever since, yrs later diagnosed with 3 buldging discs in my lower spine, degenerative disk desease.
Maybe just coincidence.
One thing I do know for sure is, you should not sit up for at least 24 hrs afterwards, or you can get a severe headache.
Try googling it or looking it up on www.WebMD.com for some info -- I'm curious now.
With my limited knowledge of kinesiology I will take a stab at it and say that pregnancy changes your center of gravity, causing lumbar hyperextension and stress on the lower back. It also stretches out the abs, the support for the back. My suggestion would be to strengthen the abdominals and obliques... now I will duck while people throw things at me ;)
