I'm opening this thread because it seems like alot of people are in dangerous spots or at least very bad ones. Maybe it's SAD, maybe it's the holidays, but I need a support team to join up and help. This is a support ONLY thread. That means compassion and good, healthy advice only. Anyone who wishes to join the support team is welcome, just hop aboard.
And to anyone who is feeling really, really down or a potential danger to themselves, start talking to us. We aren't professionals, but we're here to help until you can get to one. Please be patient if we can't get back to you in the next instant. I, for one, will write back asap, given that I have a few irl things to do. They are NOT more important than you, but they do take me away from the computer and from seeing your post. If I see it I will write to you.
Welcome all.

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
I would like to suggest they would feel better and have a happier holiday season if they could find some way to turn their energy toward finding and helping others have a good holiday season.
Do you have friends who have no family around, are their people at work who will be left alone with a t.v. dinner? Is there a homeless shelter where you can help cook and serve a meal? Is there an elderly person or couple near you who no longer has family to share the season with.
Bake cookies, make fudge, find some simple presents, share a meal. Do something for someone else. Do something to make their day brighter and more filled with love. In the process you might make a new friend or two, you will spend less time thinking of how unhappy you are and you will be doing what so many believe this season is about....giving to others.
Anglo- Thank you. It's not much, but if it helps even one person, that's enough for me. :)
