Throwing the doors wide open, El Capitan strolls in the room amongst the shocked and relieved faces. As he makes his way to his chair in the circle of friends, several rush to give hugs and shake hands. Not a single person asks where he has been, for they can see the darkness has caught up with him. Giving him time to catch up on hug replies and private messages, the circle of friends knows that every good wish, prayer and good thought has done good for the man with the shiny badge. Finding his chair, El Capitan sits, nodding to the old friends as well as the new ones, showing his appreciation for their thoughtfulness. Never again will he doubt the power of friendship. Never again will he feel completely alone.
