Does Christmas and the other holidays that are celebrated by some lift your spirits up or bring you down most of the time? I find that Christmas and the peace of it humble me and make me kind of weepy. But, once the morning gets here I get happy with the kids and am then more able to unwind. Are you the same?

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
i can't even appreciate it for my child's sake but i'm trying to grin and bear it. i know she deserves a better childhood than I had.

Being with members of my own family (the few that are left) is often troubling. We don't agree on things and I think my brother is judgmental.
All my family are in Europe and I feel very weepy around the holidays as I wish we could all celebrate together.
i realized when i read caps response, this will be my first Christmas without a s/o. and on Christmas eve i will be completely alone. i am now wondering how i will handle that.
