I've been on Prozac for 25 years, but it still drives me crazy that I still have very low times. You know the times when you feel like life is just not worth and you don't want to be here? I was just wondering if anyone else goes through such severe down times even though you are on meds. I have Clinical Depression by the way. Thanks!

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
They have stopped the thought's of suicide being so frequent though, so I s'pose there's that to be thankful for.
Hope you are well!
Last week my doctor explained that prozac also helped with anxiety and panic attacks, which again resurfaced after I stopped prozac for a year.
Clinical depression, I have that too, I guess we just have to be thankful for the few good days we have, hey, they could all be that way.
Perhaps you could talk to your doctor about additional meds during those time. I sure hate it when the world turns black......hope you feel better soon.
I am trying to get into see a counsellor (they still haven't called me after 3 weeks). Finally found their number this morning. I'll be calling them after work. I also have an appt at the end of the month with my GP. I denied last time feeling suicidal.. tho I was feeling it. I think I'll have to be more honest & admit. I think I might be mentioning bipolar to her as well. I have had a couple people mention to me that they think I might be.
sorry for the long babble,
*hugs*
