I need some answers. My husband applied for disability last August. Two weeks ago, we called and were told that his application was recommended for approval and we should be receiving a letter. In fact, the woman was surprised that we didn't receive a letter already. We have still not received the letter. Does anyone know the process from when you're recommended for approval until you receive checks? Where does the application go once you are recommended? We need to get money soon as my husband has not worked since then. Any information would be appreciated.

I miss traveling with my husband. Has anyone found a specific site regarding cruising for widow/widowers or any sightseeing trips. Not interested in being with couples and kids,,,I realize a cruise ship will have a portion size of families and couples, but perhaps they also put together a part of the cruise ship for groups of widows/widowers????
