I am tired of the same ol' same ol' stuff. I mean I make some mean spagetti, minestrone soup, potato soup, enchilad's, tacos...well ok I LOVE to cook, but I need some new ideas for stuff. Nothing fancy just every day meal ideas.
Come on folks...help a girl out...LOL What do you all make during the week for dinners?

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
I was trying to think of a way to spice up those steak um things. Ya know those thin steak things you buy in the freezer section? I usually add some onions and green peppers then put them with cheese on steak rolls
take little shrimp (i just like the little ones), asparagus, and chop up some onions and zucchini, spray w/ pam or whatever nonstick spray, add some garlic powder, salt and pepper and toss it on the grill... mmmm... top it off w/ some spray butter... so damn good (really healthy too)
Really quick and easy!
Beat down a few pork chops until they're .25 inches thick (about .75cm or so...really it's not so important as long as it's in that range). Beat a couple of eggs in a bowl like you're about to scramble them. Dust the pork chops in flour, dunk them in the egg, then dunk them in a pile of bread crumbs, covering each very liberally. Heat a skillet to medium heat; cover the bottom with olive oil (enough to cover the chops about half). Put them in, fry 'em until they're golden brown, flip and fry on the other side. Serve with a slice of lemon (or with lemon juice)
Taco shells, salsa, lettuce, cheese. Use the Steak-ums instead of ground beef, cook them in the salsa, then make tacos?
You can also substitute the pork chops with veal, but it's more expensive
If they're just thin steak, a Philly Cheese Steak, Stroganoff (cut them in strips) or Beef Broccoli (again, in strips) might all be good. You could also try wrapping them in puff pastry with some pate, baking them and covering with brown sauce, hollandaise or Bearnaise.
Just pound the heck out of it, dip it in egg, dredge it in flour, baking powder, salt and pepper (really push the flour mixture into it) and deep fry it.
trouble with where we are staying right now...VERY LITTLE freezer space so hard to buy to much meat because where I shop I have to buy in bulk, but may look for pork anyways!
any good casserole ideas?
