I hope you dont mind me sharing this, but I found it so helpful that Ive bought 4 copies and given them to friends, family, even my boss. Its is a book called Depressive illness, curse of the strong by Dr Tim Cantopher, a shrink who has done research into the personality types more likely to succumb to depression. His findings are that the achievers, the capable and strong, precisely because they dont give up earlier, end up doing more damage
As the blurb says: People with depression so often struggle on - dealing with pressures and stresses that other people would have run away from - until their bodies can take no more. Dr Cantopher shows the depression may be seen as the body's way of 'blowing a fuse', and explains that it is indeed a physical illness from which recovery is possible.
I cant recommend it enough, and if I had the money Id buy it for all of you!

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse.
