Sometimes I think that depression is brought on by having to many Gods. What should we believe in? To implement this task correctly is depressing all by itself. Believing in different Gods have only created War and ciaos. Some people can see the havoc that man has invented in his own mind to make himself feel better during hard times and powerful during times of War. That is the only reason why faith works. It is our physiological drug that gets most of us through the day. Have you ever pondered why people are willing to leave their love ones or even die for their faith? Have you ever wondered why all the religions of the World are based on the belief of a God or Gods through faith? Most people that grew up in the United States during the baby boomer generation believe in Christianity. If we see other religious groups practicing some kind of religion other then Christianity they are an unbeliever and most Christians believe they will go to hell. Can you see that telling the rest of the world that we have a loving God, but if you do not believe and give your life to him you will burn in Hell for eternity. What about the religion that they grew up with? Normally we believe in what has been instilled in us. Why do we think ours is right and there religion is wrong? Answer: Because we are brought up to believe in what are friends and family see and practice on a daily basis. Look at some of eastern religions and the philosophies and what they have brought to the World. Peace and happiness is there belief. They live their entire life in a harmonious fashion never wanting to hurt anyone. The most beautiful word I have ever known is "Karma". You may see or relate to this word stated more in the eastern religions and philosophies. This is true, but the meaning behind it is practiced by most if not all religions. There are (6) billion people on Earth and Christians make up roughly (1) Billion. That means that (5) billion people are going to hell. The next time you want to judge or condemn another religion because of its written prophecies and stories in their particular Holy Books, just think how unbelievable our stories in the Bible look to them.
