Sometimes I get the notion that us depressed people are justified in feeling depressed. I do realize this is a view that is not real positive, by it's very nature. I'm not a real big advocate of a "the hell with it" attitude, though I do suffer with that attitude. The truth is, we are all dealing with a world culture that is, for the most part, out of our hands. We, as individuals, have little, or no control over what is happening in the world. Look at the "Bush administration" as an example.....oh oh...now the FBI will soon be knocking on my door!!! Our collective dependence on oil, coal, etc. is already beginning to haunt each of us BIG TIME. I'm on a roll........I'll stop now before I depress the living crap out of everyone. Last remark; NO WONDER WE ARE ALL DEPRESSED!!!!

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...

the best u can do to have effect on the world..is to do small kindnesses within "your" own world. being kind for kindness' sake, not for reward.
it's kinda like the butterfly effect...
and you may not make a difference to the world as a whole..but people really can change another persons world.
