I have this wart on the back of my hand that is driving me crazy!! It is ugly, embarassing and nasty as hell and I want it gone now, but the best I could get was this stupid acid stuff that takes at least 12 weeks to work, and so far it has only made it swell up and turn white and it's even grosser and I want it gone, it makes me feel miserable, especially when I'm at work. Does anybody know of a way to get rid of this damn thing immediately????

Your dermatologist can freeze it off. It hurts like hell if they go too deep, but it works for sure.

I bet that's really really expensive, huh?

deleted_user
i dunno, just the copay if you have insurance

they have a self do it one that freezes it too..

Your regular MD should be able to do it in the office. Mine did and it was painless.

Well I don't have any insurance, and the one from walmart, called wart-b-gone and some other brand, i tried both, and it grew back like 2 days after it fell off. is the one at the doctor better?

deleted_user
also, its been at least 1 year since i've seen a doctor...

I used the acid stuff on one I had on my right palm. It was gone in about a week. It is kind of yucky at first but really not that bad.

I wouldn't even bother with the over the counter meds. Been there, tried that. It is worth it to see a doc. Unfortunately it may take more than one treatment to completely remove it.

The doctor froze it off in the office and it has never came back.

deleted_user
how expensive is it without insurance

I once read something about natural remedies which suggested putting apple cider vinegar on a wart overnight for 1-3 days. I don't have any warts so I don't know if it really works but try searching online for more info on it.

I don't know how expensive it is without insurance. You can call the doctor and ask before you go to the visit. Tell them you don't have insurance. They should be able to give you an estimate. I've had to do this with docs before.

freezed it man and then chop it off.

yup freezing it works

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
