Does anyone have any practical advice as to how to get rid of the really horrible stomach pain that I get from depression. Sometimes when I'm having a bad day I get the most unbelievable stomach pain that just makes me double over and throw up. Does anyone else get this problem? How do you make it go away?

I get stomach pains when I'm stressed or about to freak out. Friend of mine gave me some pills that they had for anxiety and I take them when I start to shake and have stomach pains. They have helped a lot so when I finally get to see a doctor I'm going to let them know. Nerves are just taking over the body and stomach takes the beating.

I feel the same way when I am really anxious or upset about something. There is also a muscle in the lower left side of my back that tightens up and is very painful as well. I am not sure how to treat these things individually. What has started to work for me getting treated for the depression itself. My back still hurts at times, but the stomach pain has gone away for the most part. My doctor put me on Effexor Xr, which helps for anxiety and depression. Have you thought about giving any of that a try? Other than that, get how you feel out of you the best you can, talk to people, write down your feelings... anything to try to rid it from your body. It is a long process to feel better sometimes, but we all need to try to so life can be enjoyable again. You can talk to me whenever you need, I'll listen.

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
