Has anyone tried this? One of my friends really wants me to try it because she thinks part of my problem is my low conception of myself...
I've tried other forms of therapy and they really haven't helped me... I know different people experience different things and have success with different things, I just don't know too much about it and I was wondering if anyone had success with it...

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
Good luck!
Such as if you don't want to feel bad about yourself, then don't think negative thoughts about yourself. That's a simplistic way of explaining it, but I think you get what I mean.
It works great for many people because it's action oriented, giving you control over your feelings by controlling your thoughts and actions instead of focusing on your feelings. Insurance companies really like it too because it's usually more helpful in a shorter treatment time.
It has helped me in many ways, I have been going through the PTSD crap from my past and while it is currently causing more depression I know that getting it all out will make it better in the long run so I am sticking with it.
If you decide to do it make sure you have a therapist that you are really connected too. It helps if you can be open with them because the more open you are the better they know you and can help you.
Good luck to you in whatever method you go with.
