For those of you who have case managers/social workers, do you think they are as helpful to you as they could be? If not, what do you think they could do to better help?

I have a counsellor who is very directive, gives me concrete things to do that really help.

Thanks for replying, ToddyJean. Not to pry or anything, but would you be willing to share some examples of the concrete things she gives you that help?

My med case mgr offered to come more often during my change of meds, I am now in withdrawal from effexor, I also came off of lamictal and abilify over the past few months, but this time I am coming off the effexor quickly and she offered to come by more often because I am so isolated. Bless her.

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps.
