hi ive not posted here before i usualy sort of hang out in the alcohol community.Ive recently been diagnosed as bipolar.I know there are different types but thats about as much i know about this thing.Im feeling a bit like a guinnipig at the moment as the doc is trying out different strengths of meds on me.Just wondered if anyone might shine a little light on this for me.Is this the way its dealt with in the beginning?any help welcome please!!!

In the beginning you might need to try out different meds and different dosages. You have to be patient. It's hard. Can you call your doc with questions? Something else to do is to google up as much info as you can on bipolar disorder. You can continue to ask specific questions here. There are many people who share your diagnosis. Welcome.

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps.
