So I've had chest pain for a few days now, but since a few hours ago it has got worse and now slices my left side apart every time I breathe in, I don't even want to remember how it felt when I sneezed. I've also got stomach problems on top of it but that's not the point. The psychiatrist was the one who told me it was a chest infection (I wondered if it was a side effect of medication) but that was when it wasn't so bad. So I figure I should probably tell my GP. Well I'm going home tomorrow for half term, and the GP isn't open on a weekend. But I really don't want to stay here just for a dr appointment, and probably wouldn't be able to get one to the end of the week. But if I go home I'm not registered with a doctor there... so I don't know if I can see one. Any gut feelings/suggestions?

And lastly

Crap hun i am so sorry. If it hurts tht much I think you might want to cosider going to the emergency room (can't bloody remember what you call it). feel better soon! xx

Can you have your doctor paged?

It's 4am (I've been asleep since about 6pm) so can't really see her right now. And I wouldn't know how to have her paged or anything the surgery just isn't open on a weekend. If it gets really bad I might consider that batty.... (we call it A&E or casualty lol)

It is going on too long without seeing a doctor. You need to see one essentially immediately. You have waited a very dangerously long time.

Just know that if you don't have insurance, an ER visit may result in a pretty good sized bill.

It could be a gas pocket or acid reflux. See a normal doctor to check you out hun xo

It could be pleurisy or pleural irritation, so you can't wait. If you feel able to wait til the morning you can still go home and see an emergency GP on the NHS if you register as a temporary resident (one small form). That might even be faster than waiting in A&E on a Friday night. Or call your GP surgery where you're registered now and get an emergency appointment. Someone will be covering as they have to provide 24 hour care. Someone will see you as they don't mess with chest pain.

    over the last couple of days ive been being told that a physcologist and doctor is the only way for me to heal and help myself, which at first didnt affect me as much but now i seriously am having a panic attack and have absolutley no hope for myself that i am going to heal, i cant see myself healing or being happy and i cant imagine my life getting any better, it truly really feels like it is...
