So, I was in bed. Nice and warm, comfortable and ready to get some sleep when all of a sudden I was attacked by all of these negative thoughts. They came out of nowhere! The next thing I knew, I was shaking and crying. I turned on the tv and hoped that some anime would cheer me up, and it didn't... And now here I am. Awake, paranoid, and upset.

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...

Laynie, I've tried that before and it worked for a good 10 minutes and then I start falling asleep. But I have this thing where I'll be only half asleep and the slightest noise, touch or anything will make me jump out of my skin.
Try chanting Om Mani Padme Hum to yourself over and over in a quiet soothing voice. It's a famous tibetan monks chant, very good for calming.
