Not to scare you, but i know there is some sort of illness out there that effects young dogs--my cousins dog had it and it died and they can't have another dog for a year because the vet said the yard and anything touched by the dog was effected and another dog would catch it--get him to a vet asap

All our animals are (or should be as its a legal requirement) immunised against parvo virus, which is what you are talking about, Eliza. But then Sleep you are in France not Uk, sorry. Keep an eye on him tonight but it probably is just an infection which antibiotics will help. Try and make him take no liquids though as being dehydrated will make him worse.

I'm of a different mind on the "people meds." Some are definitely NOT okay for dogs and you've gotta go on a dog-by-dog, case-by-case, med-by-med basis.
Be very careful with meds intended for people. There are over-the-counter dog meds that I would trust first.

    theatre and I are there already. I'm having a very berry tea with crackers, cheese and cherry tomatoes and she's having a joint with some beer and we're both on really comfy recliners on thick pile carpet. we need some help with the decor if anyone is around??

    I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
