Mr. Depression reared his ugly head big time about 3 months ago and my doc's doubled my meds (Effexor). I asked him about a full spectrum light box and he said he's had a couple of patients who feel it improved their situation. At this point I'm in such a bad way (been off work since Jan 15) that I'm willing to try anything. Only thing these boxes aren't cheap, and even though I'm worth the money to myself, I still would hate to totally waste my $$$$. Has anyone tried a light box? Any success? Any non-success?

I have my maxed amount of epidural shots of my cervical DDD....(and no one cares about my lumbar DDD)..... I've done physical therapy, muscle relaxers, Amitriptyline, Nortryptiline, desipramine.....narcotics... So I decided to go to a spine specialist and they have me on Gabapentin. Its been two weeks and it did nothing for my lumbar ever... but it did seem to help my cervical and arm/hand pain...
