does anyone know if there is a community for our other halfs? i have read that some of us have partners who have trouble understanding how we feel and how to deal with our depression issues, mine included. he doesn't know what to do for the best sometimes and i think a community set for people like him would be a good idea.

ther is a community for caregivers, which is respectfully what the partners of depression sufferers are in one sense or another i am sure they could get some advice there if not ask doug.

Umm usually there are support groups for families just check them out locally.

I am sure they need one, heck, I have a bipolar ex, and I still don't understand him, even with clinical depression. Heck, don't even understand my own at times. So, yes, I'd suggest starting one.

don't you think that it will help him to understand a bit more and know that he is not alone in this? we have 2 computers so fighting over it is not a prob lol...anyway, id win everytime!!

its ok iv found one, its called depression supporters. will get him to have a look

Yes it probably would help him understand and for some ppl it would be beneficial. My husband is not interested in PC's. Good idea for some though.

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps.
