Well, its not really a crisis, but anyway, I'm new here and I don't really have many people I can talk to. In my real life I've always been emotionally dull, so if I told a friend I was having problems I don't think they would believe me, or they would laugh. I'm not usually depressed on a day to day basis, I'm usually too distracted or whatever, but at night when my thoughts wander or when I sleep I have nightmares from previous events. When depression hits it hits like a freight train and usually affects me at work, today was such a day, I woke from a bad dream and managed an hour of sleep before work, it dragged me down the whole day. Luckily I work alone so nobody can really see the direct results of this. It all started 6 years ago and I've always carried on with the thought that it would get better, but what kept me up all night was the question, what if it doesn't get better? I quit drinking 5 years ago and that helped, but didn't fix the problem. Well if anyone would like to talk, send me a message. I need to get to sleep.
