My dad passed away in May of '05 and then in December of the same year my mom and I volunteered to walk dogs at the local animal shelter Chief McBride unlocked the cages for us. Then in April-May of '06 I started work and got sexually harassed by another employee and when I went to the Police Department Chief McBride helped me there too. After that every time I'd go to the PD to ask a question or whatever Chief McBride was the one there that would help me. I think that my dad wanted me to become friends with Chief McBride. Now I've found a father figure in Chief McBride. I call him daddy and he thinks of me as his daughter (he is married and has three young boys). I still miss my real dad and cry all the time about it but I still feel that my real dad wanted me to find a father figure in McBride. What do you guys think about all this?
