Depression - Teen Support Group
Teen depression is marked by persistent sadness, discouragement, loss of self-worth, and loss of interest in usual activities. Depression can be a temporary response to many situations and stresses. Teens may be more susceptible to depression due to the normal maturation process, the stress associated with it, and conflicts with parents as they become more independent.

To Wonder
By: HidesInTheMusic
The cricket chirps, the moonlight chills his soul
There is nothing outside my window, only a single light pole
I'm the only one to see it, its yellow placid light flicking off-beat
I'm the only one awake this hour, the only one feeling the poles heat
I can see a star rise, it travels over the grounds
I watch the wind float; dreams pass my window without their dainty sounds
I wonder why I'm not the one dreaming...
I want to run over the grass, but the snow has taken it away
I want to bring my guitar outside, but its wet from the rain earlier today
I watch a cloud cover the moon, a blanket made so fine
I stand from my bed and lean my nose against the pane, wondering to pass the time
I cross my arms tightly, and pull my sweater close, the snow air is getting in
I wish I was the one sleeping now, because I could dream again
I wonder why I'm not the one dreaming...
I hum the melody of beautiful dream, and indeed, please, come unto me
The sooner I can fall asleep, the closer to you I'll be
My restless mind can't stray away from your perfectly chiseled face
I hold my breath and count to ten and imagine a different place
I open myself to reality again, all the lights are out
Except for one that is yellow with hope, and spattering light about
I wonder why I'm not the one dreaming...
The sky is getting lighter now, and I have not slept at all
I'll be awake for three more days, until the end of fall
The time is nearing, dearest boy, where I'll hold your hand again
The fading light of the dreamers drains with the light the sun extends
I take a chance, and pass another breathless, airy day
A day so rushed with eager passing, each night not far away
I wonder why I'm the only one dreaming...

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
