The world is exactly how you see it. You see and hear everything going on around you and you react to it. What myself and other people need to relize is that everything is perceptable. Everyone controls themselves because you judge things and respond to them based on what you think. Happy people are happy because they control themselves extremely well. You are who you are because you determine that, and no one else can do anything about it. "Turn that frown upside down" is a well known cliche but the meaning implys that you do have the power to make yourself happy. It's when you let yourself get pulled around by certain people/events/circumtances that we forget this awesome power we have. Next time you feel you're losing control, stop, count to ten (this works as kind of a mental reset button), and re-assess the situation. And always try to remember, only YOU can control YOU.
