Depression - Teen Support Group
Teen depression is marked by persistent sadness, discouragement, loss of self-worth, and loss of interest in usual activities. Depression can be a temporary response to many situations and stresses. Teens may be more susceptible to depression due to the normal maturation process, the stress associated with it, and conflicts with parents as they become more independent.

Ok so heres my problem
I live in the middle of a town....I have no friends and my parents think I'm faking my depression (as if I would choose to live this way)Somedays I am so depressed that it takes me forever just to get out of bed. I refuse to take medication because I have an incredibly addictive personality, and therapists have given me up as a lost cause. Or labelled me as an attention seeker, who acts like this to get off going to school.
I don't really know anyone else with severe clinical depression and I feel like I'm the only one that struggles to wake up in the morning.
I know i'm not but that's how I feel

I have been here before, a long long time ago and now I am back.Forgive me for not just saying what I want to say, even under a triple dose of antidepressants it is still raw and seeping and I am hesitant at revealing it as at least under the bandages around my heart I don,t have to look at how raw and wounded. My child was cleaved from my heart by his own actions. my child of ten, turning eleven...

theatre and I are there already. I'm having a very berry tea with crackers, cheese and cherry tomatoes and she's having a joint with some beer and we're both on really comfy recliners on thick pile carpet. we need some help with the decor if anyone is around??
Last year I got told that i had that. i dont think i ever really did then but there is a chance I have it now. i dont really beleive in labels. i think sometimes my self that I do it for attention. people who dont have anything else in there lives so they make things up. I dont see my family much and I dont really have any friends so sometimes I feel like it is all fake and I am only doing it so people will notice. I hope that find your way through it all. If you ever need to talk to someone I am around.
