Depression - Teen Support Group
Teen depression is marked by persistent sadness, discouragement, loss of self-worth, and loss of interest in usual activities. Depression can be a temporary response to many situations and stresses. Teens may be more susceptible to depression due to the normal maturation process, the stress associated with it, and conflicts with parents as they become more independent.

why do some people think life is a gift? from birth we are cursed to die. and until thenwe wander round looking for things to suspend the inevitable. we work hard for money to buy food and drink to sustain out bodies, to buy a shelter from the harshness of the world. but the work can come in many forms, good and bad, inheriting a fortune to begging on the streets. but despite our efforts, this poison we call life, slowly drains us of conciousness, turning us frail and tired. our lives are full of hardships and torture, and dont get me wrong, good times too, but is it all worth it?
Now because im aetheist, i see no afterlife in store, most religions reject those who dont worship thier "God/s"(im not saying all religions, just some) and basically damn them to eternal misery, now in my life, misery is what occupies conciousness so the only thing death would bring is no more waiting for it, nothing else could really change according to most sources.
can any1 see fault in my thinking?
just a bit of philosophy that tends to float around my labarynthian mind which passed me by again recently. dont worry im not gonna kill myself, not soon anyway.
hope u enjoy the contemplation of the subject at hand(

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
But there is an old saying hon, if you live your young life with a negative approach, then yes negative things will happen to you. If you can manage to stay happy, have a good social life and just think happy thoughts then I think you'll find a big difference.
You have to realize at 15 your problems are small compared to those you will come across in your adult years. The big difference being is that at the moment your body hasnt given you the right tools to deal with your pain.So you approach them with a young immature mindset. Whatever problem you have is usually fixable hon, its like an illness, you just have to persue the right remedy for it and move on with your life, erase the problem and move foward.
Talking a problem out always helps I find, you can brainstorm together and find the solutions nine times out of ten.Im here, others are here to brainstorm with you, dont be alone ok ? ))))))))))
U too angelafiel, insightful as always.
Hang in there seeing. You have sooo much life ahead of you in which to find enjoyment in.
