Depression - Teen Support Group
Teen depression is marked by persistent sadness, discouragement, loss of self-worth, and loss of interest in usual activities. Depression can be a temporary response to many situations and stresses. Teens may be more susceptible to depression due to the normal maturation process, the stress associated with it, and conflicts with parents as they become more independent.
In your teen years you have the power to change and plan your future, some steps in our lives are hard, I remember the teen years as being really hard, and school these days is very hard, the teachers get the pressure to finish their allocated work, they in turn push the pupils to finish it in the allocated time, this results in pressure for all concerned Im afraid. My son is in freshman year at high school, so I know the problems first hand.
The only thing I can promise you moel is that this wont last, it doesnt seem like that how I know, but these years wont last, soon youll be adult, and the tools to cope with these problems will come with your maturing to adult status.Be patient and try to enjoy these years.)))))))))))x
