I'm hanging loosly by a thread
whipping to and fro
from the rafters, in the breeze
Outside the window
are the whispering white fowers,
Dirt under my nails from the digging
The dust in my eyes
there is no air
my screams go unheard.
My fear slaps me til my face is red, stinging
Tears roll down my cheeks
pooling on the floor
The thread that holds me grips tighter.
My memories flash before me,
those eyes reaching to my soul
blurry blue drawing me close like a magnet
Sunlight licks the floor, kissing my feet.
Chills run up my spine,
cold fingers picking pieces of my heart one by one
until I am emptiness
