Okay, so my mom has finally gone to a Dr out of state after she moved in with my sister who also lives out of state. This sister is mom's go to girl. This is fine as now this sister has seen just how bad the memory problems are and the repetitiveness of their conversations. Before she believed that my dad was actually causing mom all this distress. The problem is that since she's been with my sister, she has had no rages or angry outbursts. Do they usually have only one person who is the center of their rage?? My dad is upset feeling that she will never come home again and is starting to believe it's his fault. I try to explain that her thinking is off right now but he is starting to spiral down into depression. They are both in their 70's and this is just breaking my heart and the family. Four sisters believe mom has dementia and 2 believe its dads fault. Is this par for the course or is my family just really screwed up????

I miss traveling with my husband. Has anyone found a specific site regarding cruising for widow/widowers or any sightseeing trips. Not interested in being with couples and kids,,,I realize a cruise ship will have a portion size of families and couples, but perhaps they also put together a part of the cruise ship for groups of widows/widowers????
