Perhaps now the United States Senate will pass a bill funding further research since one of their own has been taken ill with a form of this disease

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Doctors have told us that the condition steve has got is very rare,Semantic dementia relates to all of the things you have mentioned.
At the moment cambridge university are doing research on steve so they can try and find out more about the complaint.
After reading quite a lot into semantic dementia i understand it only came about 25yrs ago so they really do not know enough about it,thankyou for the information please let me know if you find any further information on this, take care kim
As your great statesman, Winston Churchill, once said, "The pen is mightier than the sword."
My mother's type of dementia, Lewys Body, with frontotemporal features was identified in 1996. At times she has a problem with her vision and is unable to read small print. This can last for an undeterminable amount of time. From hours to several days. Before her diagnosis, we had her glasses changed a few times, which proved to be quite expensive and to no avail. Her neurologist recommends further testing to see what's going on.
Good to hear you've got Cambridge on your team. We are connected with Baylor College of Medicine where my mother once worked as a histologist for an opthalmic pathologist. At he time he was one of only five in the U.S.
