My father in law is in his late 70s and lives alone, he doe no housework, will wear the the same clothes for days,wont shave,and lives on sandwiches. when we visit he says the same things over and over eg;"d you want a cup of tea" many many times he remebers us all and his past but doesnt rememberthe day or time of day it is could tis be dementia or the start of alzhimers he does drink a couple of bottles of beer every day.
