I am hoping that someone in the group will be able to direct me to the information I am looking for. I am staying with my mother in order to help her with her husband who is in the early stages of dementia. She is in a great deal of denial over how life will now be different. She seems to think that my 16 year old daughter should be left in charge at the house with only my mother's husband here. There have already been problems because he gets belligerent with her, Nothing serious has happened, but I am hoping to avoid that. My mother thinks that it is because my daughter is not acting "mature" enough. I am hoping that if I present some literature on the subject that my mother will stop making such an issue of it and be more accepting of the situation.
