my mom's got the early stages of dementia & in ass.living. about 3 years ago she had a brain tumor removed which caused dementia. it's slowly progressing. my dad died 11 years ago & my sister died last may. my mom just went back into the hospital for an infection.(urinary track infection) but, they think it went into her blood. & also they're not sure if she has phenomia & now she's got a catheter back after having that scope thing done less than a year ago. now they want 2 do another scope test.my mom's had a catheter before & it's also been removed for the last year.(with no problems) why all of a sudden they decide 2 put the catheter back ? also, her white cell count up. does this have 2 do with dementia. i hope i make sense. any advise would really help!!
