I was given a cervical pillow by my chiropractor when I was in to see him a couple of weeks ago because he did x-rays and found that my neck was far straighter than it should be. Since then, not only has my sleep been better and my neck been looser, but the DDD in my lower back is not flaring as much! It may be too soon to tell yet, but it seems to be making a large difference for me. My back stays aligned better when I'm sleeping and I don't wake up nearly as stiff and sore as before. These pillows don't cost much, and I think anyone with back trouble should try one out. :)
