I'd like to get some feedback from others that have had this proceedure.. I had it done back in 2004 when it was under research still in this country.. I was a canidate for the program and had it done in california at uc davis.. would like to hear from others about their outcome.. mine was not that great.. i still have pain, lost strentght in both my arms afterwards, and range of motion is less than before in my neck and my arms, i also suffer from fibromyalgia, having that sugery really progressed those symtoms.. the replacement was done on c5/c6, but degenerative disk's from c3 to c7 also from T11 to L5, i am now on ssi, no longer able to work,, the point of having the sugery was so i could return to work.. this was one of the points they discussed with me before the sugery,, if i knew i wasn't going to be able to work afterwards i never would have had the sugery.. i'm worse now than before..
