My DVT is very extensive in my left leg;extending from pevis to just above knee.I have had it for 15 months now & it has severly limited my life re mobility. My consultant has suggested venous bypass surgery in an attempt to relieve my horrid symptoms (swelling, pain)He has led me to believe it is a rarely done procedure & he has only done it 3 times to date.Does anyone know anything about this? My life is completely ruled by my leg & I feel that the quality of my present life is very poor & so will do anything to lessen the symptoms.Help /advice badly needed please
