I injured my knee 9/18/2007 - tore muscle at back of knee - and it wasn't until 11/20 they found the clot - knee to groin. Hospitalized for 9 days and on complete bed rest (legs higher than heart) until January. Then gradually started to be allowed up. On warfarin and compression knee high. Returned to desk job 2/4 - computer engineer. Still have to sleep head lower. Problem - thigh pain - mostly on inside of thigh but since started PT - on back and front. Do any of you have thigh pain? My doctor says it must be the muscle I hurt but I don't think so. I've asked about how long on warfarin and stocking but he is vague. Is this forever? I am 63 and want to back to my old self.

I miss traveling with my husband. Has anyone found a specific site regarding cruising for widow/widowers or any sightseeing trips. Not interested in being with couples and kids,,,I realize a cruise ship will have a portion size of families and couples, but perhaps they also put together a part of the cruise ship for groups of widows/widowers????
