I have been having trouble eating Dreamfields with a tomato-based sauce because I had only been using canned, diced tomatoes and you have to use quite a bit because its not thick. Then they had a huge sale on this new pasta sauce. Its normally very expensive and I wouldn't have bought it. But for the price I paid, why not. Its pure San Marino and CA tomatoes with spices. Let me tell you, with a large portion of pasta I used much less than 1/2 cup of the sauce, because it is thick, and it was plenty. Didn't even need parm cheese. It was better or at least equal to the best homemade sauce and my sugar didn't spike at all. However, it is high in salt but 1/4 cup isn't bad, Silver Palate products are new but don't get the salad dressing. I did - its much too oily.
