Hi everyone i have a gorgeous girl whos 2 next week. Since dec 2007 she has been having problems. She kept getting one chest infection after another nad was in hospital twice last year with pneumonia. The last time was in june 2008. I took her to see consultant in august 2008 who was very pleased with her as she had put weight on and seemed well. He mentioned at the appointment that at one point he thought she may have cystic fibrosis. Big sigh of relief from me. This however has been short lived. Every time she gets acold she develops a wheeze with it. She bring up a lot of thick green mucus when coughing. She has trouble opening her bowels (huge poos). Her tummy is very distended, shes pale, and very skinny. I have taken her to my doctors this morning and he has said he thinks she has asthma. Do any of these symptoms sound like cystic fibrosis and does any body have any advice i am back with consultant next month but i am at my wits end and finding it very difficult seeing her like this. Thanks Joanne
